Where have I been and where will I go?

July 2000

Here I am

I start my first job with West corporation as a student employee while in high school. I learn how to create documents in Microsoft Office. I took old photo copies of templates that used to be copied and then filled out into digital files so that they can easily be copied and filled out digitally. I did this for only 1 semester and really learned allot.


March 2001

Customer Service!

Taco Bell, I remember this position very fondly as I made allot of friends and I learned so much during this position. I was working here tell 2005 and still have nice memories about this time. I loved working drive-thru and really enjoyed working with customers. The tacos were a nice perk as well!


July 2003

Technical start

We all need to start somewhere and my position with Microbytes was my first heavily technical role. The business did audio duplication for CD's and tape for local bands and clients. I made allot of mistakes here and I learned allot from this position. The market was changing thou and the business had to close around 2005


February 2005

Finding Myself

So I wanted to figure out what to do with myself. College did not feel right, and the Army looked like a good choice. I enlisted as an Intelligence Analyst and I learned so much in this position. I served tell April 2010 and after two deployments I have been able to experience so much I knew what I wanted to do!


August 2010 - December 2013

Bachelor of Science

My time in the Army gave me so much direction, I knew where I wanted to go. I fell in love with technical collection and I wanted to be a part of the overall system. I decided to major in Political Science to study the complex relationships governments have with each other and how to work within this system!


February 2012

STRATCOM

I landed a amazing internship with the Strategic Command in the planning and policy directorate. This is where I discovered a unknown love of policy and development of policy. The work I did from within this office as a intern was amazing and a great experience to be a part of!


April 2014

Washington DC

I had this dream of working in DC and finally it came true. My office had a view of the Pentagon and the Washington monument and I had an amazing team to work with. I was only a contractor but fell in love with the different missions. This is where I was introduced to cyber security in a new way which I just fell in love with. I wanted to do even more!


August 2017 - May 2019

Graduate School

I spent 10+ years as an all source intelligence analyst, but a serendipitous event pushed and inspired me to get into Cyber Security, and I fell in love with it! My Master’s degree is in Cyber Security and I learned so much in this program!

Cyber Ninja

And finally here I am, working as a cybersecurity engineer conducting research in reverse engineering and discovering how to attack various systems to include industrial control systems and other IT systems!
